All Beezwax brand 2.5-gram vapes and 1-gram hemp prerolls manufactured by Kooka LLC are affected by this advisory. Products have been distributed in Minnesota to both cannabis retail stores and hemp retailers such as tobacco and hemp/CBD stores. The product labels do not contain lot numbers or any other batch-specific information.
These vapes and prerolls contain high amounts of THC which is not disclosed on the label and therefore pose a serious threat to the health of consumers. Consuming more THC than intended could lead to unexpected adverse health effects. Individuals with existing health conditions may be at a greater risk of experiencing adverse health effects. A consumer advisory notice was issued by OCM simultaneously to this order.
Your business must immediately stop sale of all Beezwax brand disposable 2.5-gram vapes and 1-gram prerolls manufactured by Kooka LLC. These products must be disposed of according to applicable waste disposal regulations and Minnesota law. Contact the manufacturer for refund information.
Failure to comply with this order may result in additional enforcement action by OCM. Additional enforcement action may include an additional administrative penalty of up to $10,000 per violation, or an amount that deprives the business of any economic advantage gained by the violation, or both, and/or referral to law enforcement for potential criminal violations.
