We are less than two weeks away from the CanRenew community restoration grant program request for proposals (RFP) deadline. The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) is hosting an informational and technical session to guide applicants through the grant process. This is your final opportunity to hear about and ask questions about the CanRenew application process before the application window closes.
This session will cover grant eligibility, application requirements, and tips for submitting a successful application. If you are unable to attend, a recording will be posted on the CanRenew webpage after the session.
The CanRenew program, totaling $10.9 million, invests in communities disproportionately affected by cannabis prohibition, supporting development, safety, and long-term stability. The application window closes Jan. 12, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. CST.
Eligible organizations include:

Nonprofit organizations
- Federally recognized Tribes
- Educational institutions
- Local units of government
- Private businesses
- Community groups
- Partnerships between different types of organizations
Register in advance to attend the final informational and technical assistance session and ensure you have the information needed to apply.
