New resources to help businesses prepare for the lower-potency hemp edible license window
This communication is to inform you of new and updated guidance materials available on the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) website, and to remind you of the upcoming lower-potency hemp edible licensing window, which will be open from October 1 at 8 a.m. CDT until October 31 at noon CDT. During this time, OCM will accept business license applications for three license types: lower-potency hemp edible retailers, lower-potency hemp edible manufacturers, and lower-potency hemp edible wholesalers.
OCM has developed several resources to help businesses navigate the upcoming licensing window and the transition to licensure:
OCM will also be holding a webinar, Navigating Lower-Potency Hemp Edible Licenses, on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from noon to 1 p.m. CDT. If you would like to attend, please register on Microsoft Teams.
These resources can be found on our website, along with other resources, on the General Licensing Process webpage, under General Licensing Resources > Resources for Applying for a Lower-Potency Hemp Edible Business License.
For more information about preparing for LPHE licensing and how to work with your local government on retail registration, please reference our Aug. 31 bulletin.
Please contact OCM customer service via our Contact Us webpage if you have general questions about the application process.
