First meeting scheduled for Cannabis Advisory Council
Minnesota's Cannabis Advisory Council will hold its inaugural meeting on Friday, March 29, from 10:00 a.m. – noon. This meeting will be held virtually. See meeting details below.
Among the agenda items, council members will elect a vice-chair and vote on a per diem policy. Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) staff will also provide a brief implementation update and an overview of OCM’s proposed legislative changes to Minnesota’s cannabis law.
The Cannabis Advisory Council was created as part of Minnesota’s new cannabis law. The Council consists of 51 members; 24 seats are appointed by the Governor and 27 are direct appointments.
