Take the 7th rulemaking public input survey
The Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) will wrap up its initial rulemaking engagement with a seventh public input survey, which will concentrate on medical cannabis and Minnesota’s patient registry program.
Questions for this survey focus on the future of the medical cannabis market and expansions allowed under the Minnesota cannabis law passed in 2023. Questions also cover the medical cannabis patient registry program, which allows patients who have been certified with a qualifying medical condition to purchase medical cannabis from a medical cannabis dispensary.
Take the survey now! Deadline to provide input is Feb. 26.
More opportunities to engage
OCM kicked off the initial phase of rulemaking engagement on Oct. 30, with the launch of the public input survey that covered cannabis cultivation, processing, and manufacturing. With six surveys completed so far, we have received more than 2,200 responses. Thank you for your participation!
We are using input from these surveys as we continue to draft rules. In addition, we are preparing a report that highlights themes and priorities from survey results.
OCM will offer more opportunities to be engaged in rulemaking, including hosting feedback sessions on draft rules this summer. In addition, a 30-day formal public comment period will occur after OCM publishes final draft rules to the State Register.
