The Extraordinary Leadership Workshops provide essential techniques to lead more effectively by increasing your coaching and feedback skills. Our leadership development training courses are available to all state and local government employees.
SEAL is a leadership development course designed for state employees in non-management roles that aspire to become leaders and wish to build skills towards this goal. Learn to strategically solve problems, develop skills to successfully present to senior-level staff, methods to effectively communicate and techniques to integrate your personal strengths into a leadership development plan.

A strength-based approach to improving coaching skills by focusing on what extraordinary coaches do well in a one (1) day workshop. Participants gain the critical skills and tools they need to maximize their leadership effectiveness and coach others to perform at their peak.
What You Will Learn:
- Key objectives of on-the-job coaching, the bottom-line impact of extraordinary coaches,
and the key attributes of great coaches — what they do and how they do it
- The FUEL model, which incorporates the elements that should drive each coaching
conversation and the best process for holding those conversations
- Coaching techniques through observation of coaching demonstrations, practicing the
identified skills and receiving immediate feedback

This half (1/2) day workshop will enable leaders to provide reinforcing and redirecting feedback to their employees. Leaders will discover how and when to provide positive feedback for recognition and corrective feedback to help others be more productive and cease less effective behavior.

their employees
- How to measure reinforcing and redirecting feedback by using the Feedback Practices
and Perspectives Self Assessment
- Zenger Folkman’s proven FUEL model, which will provide a framework for managers
