Enroll in your 2023 benefits by Nov 16.

Visit Self Service to sign up for your benefits. Log in to Self Service, select Self Service, Benefits, then Open Enrollment. You can save your progress, make changes and re-submit your elections, as needed, until Nov. 16, 2022. Remember to hit 'accept' to submit your elections. You'll receive a confirmation page.

Actions you can take during open enrollment:

Add or drop dependents. Unless you experience a qualifying life event, Open Enrollment is the only time you can add or drop yourself or eligible dependents.

Change your claim administrator – BlueCross BlueShield of MN, HealthPartners, or PreferredOne. Open Enrollment is the only opportunity to change your claim administrator.

Change your primary care clinic: Choose a primary care clinic that fits you and your family's needs. The clinic you choose will determine your cost level in the Advantage Plan.

Do you know your primary care clinic's cost level for 2023?

You can save money in 2023 if you switch to a primary care clinic at a lower cost level. Use the Find a Clinic tool to find your clinic's cost level.

Clinic cost levels can change from year to year. Your clinic may be available with another claim administrator at a lower cost level in 2023. Here's an example of the differences in costs across cost levels.

Some employees have received phone calls claiming to be from SEGIP. These callers are asking for personal information or telling employees they must change their benefits. We will never call and ask an employee to confirm their sensitive information or tell them they can get free coverage elsewhere. 

Please HANG UP if you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the State of Minnesota, Employee Insurance, or SEGIP and offering free health insurance or asking for personal information.

Contact SEGIP to notify us of suspicious calls or to confirm if a call you received is a legitimate phone call.
