Apply to Serve on a City Commission

Mendota Heights residents are invited to apply for an open position on the Natural Resources Commission. The opening is a mid-term appointment ending on January 31, 2024.

Volunteer Opportunities

The City of Mendota Heights offers a variety of opportunities for residents to volunteer, get involved and contribute to the community!

Native restoration volunteers (age 16 and up) are needed for an Ivy Falls neighborhood curb-cut raingarden planting, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, June 23.

Police Reward Kids Wearing Bike Helmets

While on patrol this summer, Mendota Heights Police will be on the lookout for kids wearing helmets. If caught, a child may find themselves making a trip to a local DQ® restaurant. As part of AAA’s “I Got Caught” campaign, as many as 100,000 Minnesota youth will be written a ‘citation’ for a free small DQ® cone for wearing a helmet while biking, scootering, skateboarding or in-line skating.
