Minnesota WIC maintains a list of staff who may be available to fill temporary competent professional authority (CPA) openings. Demand for temporary CPA assistance has been high, and the list is currently very limited!
If you work as a WIC CPA part-time and have capacity to help at other agencies, in-person and/or remotely, consider adding your name to the list. Recently retired CPAs or past staff who are pursuing other careers or college are also encouraged to consider this opportunity.
The state WIC office provides the names, contact information and availability of potential temporary staff to interested agencies. The temporary positions are arranged directly with the contracting agency. To add your name and information to the list, contact your state WIC consultant or email health.wic@state.mn.us.

Pending Proof Toggle
Pending Proof on the WINNIE Income page must be toggled on after selecting either PENDING PROOF – 30 Days for adjunctive programs or **PENDING PROOF** for itemized incomes. WINNIE relies on the Pending Proof toggle to limit household issuance to only one month when pending proof of income and to prompt the general system alert reminding you to verify income (“No proof of income was found. Review the income page.”).
Questions about how to document and resolve pending proof? The following training modules provide guidance on how to record pending proof in WINNIE:
Local agency staff should talk to their supervisor for approval before registering for training.
Refer to WIC Annual Required Trainings for staff training requirements.
