New trainings available
We have a few new trainings available on the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center for staff to view on demand. These prerecorded training courses are intended for WIC staff learning and development.
Pediatric Feeding Disorders (PFD) Two-Part Series
This two-part series was developed by Dr. Paula Rabey and Dr. Maria Kroupina, working at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain. These sessions provide insight into the essential characteristics of PFD, the social and emotional challenges faced by families, the relationship between early childhood mental health and feeding, and how to spot warning signs early and offer support.
Continuing education: This training provides 1.25 credit hours for each presentation viewed.
From Stress to Burnout: Screaming is Not an Option
This interactive session explores how everyday stress quietly escalates into burnout and why simply powering through doesn’t work. Using a workbook throughout the session, attendees leave with better tools, clearer boundaries, and the reassurance that needing support is not a personal failure.
Continuing education: This training does not provide credit hours. A certificate of attendance will be issued.
