2026 everyday hero nominations open
Every two years, each region has an opportunity to select an everyday hero.
The everyday hero award is intended to recognize and honor the great work and commitment of local WIC staff – anyone and everyone who works in WIC: clerks, CPAs, coordinators, receptionists, and others who support local WIC operations.

Welcoming a new peer breastfeeding counselor?
The next live orientation for peer counselors is scheduled for June 18.
Please contact Kristen Bricko with the name and email address of your new peer to be added to the list! A Microsoft Teams meeting invite will be sent to the peer directly, a few days prior to the orientation date.

Local agency staff should talk to their supervisor for approval before registering for training.

Recorded training webinars available
The recordings for our two-part series on pediatric feeding disorders are available on our Recorded Webinars webpage. Watching the recorded version on the Recorded Webinars webpage will not provide continuing education credits. Currently pending approval from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), these recordings will be available for continuing education credits on the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center once approved.
