Celebrate National Nutrition Month® in March
Join us to celebrate National Nutrition Month® this March! This year’s theme, Discover the Power of Nutrition, highlights how smart food and beverage choices help individuals and communities thrive. Learn how nutrition can fuel your day, improve access to healthy foods, and support lasting habits for a healthier future. Minnesota WIC invites local agencies to support families making informed food choices and developing healthy eating and physical activity habits.
The National Nutrition Month® - March 2026 (WORD) social media toolkit is now available on the WIC Communications and Outreach webpage. We encourage local agencies to choose one message to promote weekly.

Feedback needed for infant abuse prevention messaging
The Minnesota Department of Health and Department of Children, Youth and Families are developing educational materials that primary care medical providers can use at well-baby visits to educate parents and primary caregivers on how to recognize signs of physical abuse in infants and report suspected physical abuse.
To ensure that the messages are easily understood and will resonate with the intended audiences, we are requesting that you submit feedback by completing the messaging survey.
Your feedback will help ensure that the messaging on signs of infant abuse is clear, informative, and will resonate with the intended audiences.
Survey responses are due by the end of the day on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
