RSV vaccination for pregnant people

RSV vaccination of pregnant people is recommended during weeks 32-36 of pregnancy between September and January in Minnesota and most of the continental U.S.

Pfizer’s RSV product, Abrysvo, is the only product recommended for pregnant people. Continue to vaccinate your eligible pregnant patients through the end of January.

A single dose of RSV vaccine is recommended for use in adults 75 years of age and older, and adults ages 50–74 at increased risk of severe RSV. Pfizer’s Abrysvo as well as GSK’s Arexvy and Moderna’s mResvia will continue to be available to order through the UUAV program to serve this population.

Flu vaccine prebook reminder

The prebook event to request influenza vaccine for the 2026-27 influenza season is now open. Prebook requests are due Jan. 30. Ordering for the current season (2025-26) will be temporarily unavailable while the 2026-27 prebook is open and will resume on Feb. 2. We will not be able to accommodate late UUAV flu prebook requests for the 2026-27 season, so be sure to submit your prebook request by the Jan. 30 deadline.
