UUAV providers will be able to prebook influenza vaccine for the 2026-27 influenza season starting Thursday, Jan. 15. Prebook requests are due Jan. 30. Ordering for the current season (2025-2026) will be temporarily unavailable while the 2026-27 prebook is open and will resume on Feb. 1. We will not be able to accommodate late UUAV flu prebook requests for the 2026-27 season, so be sure to submit your prebook request by the Jan. 30 deadline.
UUAV-enrolled providers will use the Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) to prebook.
- Login to MIIC at Minnesota Immunization Information Login between Jan. 15 and Jan. 30.
- Go to the vaccine management header on the left-hand side.
- Select request special event vaccine.
- From the event dropdown select 2026-27 UUAV adult influenza vaccine prebook. Verify that you are in the 2026-27 prebook event before submitting your request.

- Determine who within your organization will prebook influenza vaccine in MIIC.
- Check with your vaccine ordering staff to see if they have a MIIC user role with ordering privileges.
- Login to MIIC and view your user role at the top of the home page. If your role ends with the words “with ordering” then you will have access to request influenza vaccine in MIIC.
- If you do not have a user role with ordering, consult with your MIIC administrator to update your role.
- Typically, there is a MIIC user at each site who is designated as a MIIC administrator. If you have an administrator role you can create user roles for your staff. Refer to Managing Users (PDF) for more information.

*Note: Fluzone High-Dose and Fluad are new to the VFC and UUAV programs as of last year. They are both high-dose influenza vaccines and intended for those 65 years and older or those who are 18 years and older AND are solid organ transplant recipients on immunosuppressive medication regimens.
