What to do if WIC translated videos play in English
We have heard from some local agencies that the Spanish translated Using your WIC card video is playing in English on YouTube instead of the original Spanish audio.
If this happens, check your YouTube settings to make sure the original Spanish audio is selected by:
- Clicking the video link (example: Usando su Tarjeta de WIC - Spanish (YouTube)).
- Click Settings on the bottom right side of the video player.
- Select Audio Track.
- Select Spanish (original).
YouTube has a new feature that auto dubs videos into additional languages. The Minnesota Department of Health is looking into the feature to make sure our videos are playing in the proper languages.

Baby behavior video clips
MN WIC Baby Behavior Education (YouTube) Baby Behavior video clips were created to help caregivers learn to recognize and understand their baby’s cues and strengthen their bond with their new baby. These clips can be used as a visual aid to enhance verbal information provided to families during prenatal, postpartum, or infant contact, whether in person or over the phone. The clips are available to participants from the Welcome to WIC! webpage (under Nutrition & Your Family) or from the Minnesota WIC App (under Health and Nutrition Tips).
A new resource, Baby Behaviors Clip Descriptions (PDF), is a quick-reference tool for staff to understand and share the message behind each clip. Explore the WIC Baby Behaviors webpage for more tips and tools to refresh or enhance your education discussion with new parents or caregivers.
