Diarrhea Micro-Learn:
What to do when you see diarrhea

MDH Project Firstline Micro-Learn topics are brief, guided discussions designed to provide on-the-job educational opportunities. This session focuses on diarrhea as an infection control topic and connects key concepts to provide immediate, practical value.

This train-the-trainer session is designed for those with infection control expertise or those who may lead infection prevention and control education. It provides guidance on how to incorporate this Micro-Learn into existing team huddles or meetings and how to confidently facilitate discussions that help your team take daily actions to stop the spread of germs.

Project Firstline (PFL) is a partnership between the CDC and MDH that provides innovative and accessible infection control education for all frontline health care workers, staff, and members of the public health workforce. Regardless of your role, previous training, or educational background, the goal is to understand and confidently apply infection control principles and protocols to protect your patients, coworkers, and yourself from infectious disease threats in health care.  

PFL offers educational resources in a variety of formats to meet the diverse learning needs and preferences of the health care workforce.
