This training is an in-person designated breastfeeding expert skills day for WIC staff and partners.
The training is for WIC staff who need to complete Level 4 training and is also open to those who have already completed the full WIC Breastfeeding Curriculum and want more hands-on experience. This training can be shared with your community partners.

Details: Learn how to plan for and prevent the unexpected in the workplace, recognition of escalating behavior, basic de-escalation techniques with emphasis on verbal intervention, and reporting procedures and resources.

Register for the Supporting Newcomer Health Workshop: Enhancing your skills with interpreters
Looking to improve your skills and confidence of working with interpreters, join the University of Minnesota for a free training as they share how to effectively collaborate with a professional interpreter during one of interactive workshops listed below. Each workshop is two hours in length on Zoom.
This training is after hours, so work with your supervisor to balance your hours.

- Wednesday, Aug. 6
All dates will have two trainings offered at:
- Option 1: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Option 2: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
