REMINDER! WIC card orders are due 6/15/2025 – action required.

The Quarterly WIC Card Stock Order Form is due on June 15. All agencies must submit an order. If no cards are needed for this quarter, enter None into the Number of Boxes field on the form. WIC Card stock will ship in July.

Orders placed are four times a year on Dec. 15, Mar. 15, June 15 and Sept. 15. Shipments are delivered about six weeks after the order is placed for all local agencies.

Federal Fiscal Year 2025

Federal WIC regulations require WIC grantees to have at least one financial review every two years to assure WIC funds are spent appropriately.

With the start of Federal Fiscal Year 2025 (FFY25), the WIC financial review was updated to include additional documents for review, similar to how reviews were done in the past.

Please share the following information WIC Financial Reviews (PDF) with your agency’s fiscal staff.  It provides information on documents requested to support expenses claimed on the invoice.

Civil rights

And Justice for All posters - no new version available

We continue to wait for our federal partners to provide us with updated printed And Justice for All posters with no news when they might arrive. When we learn more about the status of the posters, we will make an announcement, and we will continue to update this status information on our website WIC Civil Rights Resources (see public notification requirements). Our federal partners did recently post a revised electronic version of the AD-475-A, And Justice for All Assisted Programs Poster which could be used to print an 11X17 copy in color for replacements, but we continue to be encouraged to use the 2019 And Justice for All version.

Training opportunities

Local agency staff should talk to their supervisor for approval before registering for training.

Refer to WIC Annual Required Trainings for staff training requirements.

2025 National Maternal Nutrition Intensive Course

Register for the 2025 National Maternal Nutrition Intensive Course

This continuing education program focuses on the improvement of maternal and infant health through the delivery of risk-appropriate high-quality nutrition services.

There are two options to join:

• Registration: Live Webinar

When: July 15 and 16, 12:30 – 5 p.m.

• Registration: Fully Online Distance Program

Available Sept. 1- Dec. 31. All participants must view the videos, complete evaluations, and print their certificates by Dec. 31.
