Minnesota WIC app education materials update
An updated MN WIC app flyer (PDF) that features new release information is now available to order from Brush Art. The Minnesota WIC app post it notes will be available to order on Feb. 12. These updated materials can also be viewed on the My MN WIC App website.
At this time, only the English versions are available. Additional languages are currently being translated, and we will notify you when they are available to order from Brush Art.
Thank you for sharing this information with families to make sure they get all the benefits of the new version of the app which is available on Feb. 8! Just a reminder that families will need to download the new version of the app and re-register. For a general overview of new functionality, check out the My MN WIC App Training video. Final reimbursement payments
On Jan. 29, we provided final grant payment information for FFY 2024 to WIC grant administrators through a letter sent by e-mail. We also wanted to share this information with WIC coordinators and provide a reminder that WIC grant payment information can be found on the State WIC website: WIC Finance
Summary of FFY 2024 closeout information:
- 41 local agencies (LAs) will receive an end of year WIC grant reimbursement payment.
- 18 local agencies (LAs) had all unreimbursed WIC expenses covered in full.
- 23 local agencies (LAs) were not fully reimbursed.
- 14 local agencies (LAs) are not receiving an end of year grant reimbursement since they did not claim expenses above their WIC grant level.

WIC hardware inventory
The WIC hardware inventory process is beginning! If the WIC local agency coordinator has not yet received their inventory list, please let us know. This is to be reviewed and checked against what local agencies have, by serial number. Computers must be accounted for. If the list does not match what you have, record the dates the equipment was added, returned to the Minnesota WIC hardware depot, or disposed of locally. Keep a copy and return the form to mnhardware@gainwelltechnologies.com by Feb. 28.
