As the drug overdose epidemic claims the lives of Minnesotans across the state, new synthetic substances like fentanyl and xylazine continue to contaminate the drug market. For medical providers and law enforcement, the best place to learn about the drug supplies in their local communities is at the Public Health Lab at the Minnesota Department of Health.
