Learning objectives
- Describe why hand hygiene is a critical component of infection prevention and control.
- Describe why hands are a primary way for germs to spread from people and to the environment.
- Reinforce the when and how to perform hand hygiene.
- Understand that effective hand washing is important to minimize the risk of spreading infection.
