30-minute training session followed by optional 10-minute Q&A designed to benefit those that interact with patients, residents, and clients and/or their environment.

Learning objectives

  • Describe why hand hygiene is a critical component of infection prevention and control.
  • Describe why hands are a primary way for germs to spread from people and to the environment.
  • Reinforce the when and how to perform hand hygiene.
  • Understand that effective hand washing is important to minimize the risk of spreading infection.

Join MDH Project Firstline for a new mini series focused on refreshing COVID-19 infection prevention and control knowledge during respiratory virus season! Don't miss out on the final November training sessions, including a new interactive training on Choosing the Right PPE for COVID-19. 

20-minute interactive trainings, followed by optional Q&A, designed to benefit those that interact with patients, residents, and clients and/or their environment.  Training content is the same for both time offerings. Please register for the time that best fits your schedule.
