This is a reminder that ordering for current vaccine formulations will be closed at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2.   

Please ensure you order sufficient vaccine to maintain your inventory until mid to late September, which is when we expect the new vaccine strain formulation to be available. We will be lifting the maximum order quantity of 150 vials for the Pfizer Adult Bivalent Single Dose Vials to ensure all sites have sufficient vaccine during this transition. 

When the new vaccines become available, they can be obtained through the private market for privately insured people. Providers will need to be enrolled in our Minnesota Vaccine for Children (MnVFC) or Uninsured and Underinsured Adult Vaccine (UUAV) programs to receive publicly distributed vaccine for eligible children and adults.   

Please also report any excess vaccine you would be willing to share to our  COVID-19 Vaccine Redistribution Requests. This will be helpful if clinics need any additional supply during this interim period.
