MDH Survey - Private Well Users
We need your help to decide which materials and languages are important to Minnesota private well owners and users. MDH is going to translate educational materials about private wells into languages other than English. We are using a brief survey to gather input from public and private partners around the state who work with private well users to help prioritize:
- Materials to translate
- Languages, and
- If there are any other communication platforms we should be considering (e.g., videos, radio spots).
If this sounds applicable to you, please take a couple minutes to complete the survey.

Topic of the Month - Iodine
Iodine is an essential trace mineral that is critical in the synthesis of thyroid hormones, T3 (triiodothyronine) and T4 (thyroxine). Inadequate iodine intake impacts production of these hormones, which are essential for protein synthesis, enzymatic activity, and controlling the metabolism throughout the body. Additionally, the hormones work to support the fetal and infant development of the skeletal and central nervous system. Learn more in Iodine - Topic of the Month.
