NAAPID (National African American Parent Involvement Day)

FORWARDING AS AN FYI

From:     Office of Minority and Multicultural Health

Monday, February 13, 2012 is National African American Parent Involvement Day, a day designed to stress the importance of African American parents and families getting involved in their child’s education and to celebrate the partnership between students, families and schools. The mission of Saint Paul Public Schools is to ensure that all children learn. African American Parent Involvement Day is not only for African American parents.

We invite all parents and extended family members to visit the schools on Monday, February 13. We know that family and community involvement is key to the educational success of our students.
