Important Information Regarding the 10/31/2020 Renewal

Instructions for completing the fingerprint background study process

We have received notification from the Department of Human Services that they are now processing background studies including the fingerprinting process. If you have not already applied and paid the fee for the background study to DHS please do so now. You can access the background study instructions at Applicant Background Study (PDF).

If you have already completed the background study application and paid the Department of Human Services for the background study you should receive an email from DHS in approximately five to ten business days. The email will contain information on where to go to get the fingerprint process started.

If you have already completed the background study for your Minnesota Department of Health license/certification and were deemed clear by DHS you do not need to submit another background study.

You can update or cancel your subscription at any time by editing your personal profile. You will need your email address and your password (if you have selected one).
