Community Innovations 2020

Request for proposals open!

Build Healthy Places Network has launched the Community Innovations funding opportunity to deepen outreach and learning from local community development organizations that serve low-income communities and people of color. Community Innovations is an 18-month program available for up to eight eligible organizations motivated to engage healthcare partners in their neighborhood revitalization work. Organizations focused on advancing health equity, racial equity, and the social determinants of health are encouraged to apply.

CityHealth Pilot Opportunity

Using policy to create healthy and vibrant communities

CityHealth is looking to support small and mid-sized cities in using policy to create healthier and more vibrant communities. Selected applicants will participate in the initial pilot to improve health in their city. There will be training materials and technical assistance to guide these participants as they do their own assessment of their policies, and receive communications support to publicize their work to build thriving communities.
