Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Minnesota's health professionals will use this week to draw attention to antibiotic resistance and antibiotic stewardship.

Minnesota Department of Health recognizes inaugural honorees of the Minnesota Antibiotic Stewardship Honor Roll for Hospitals.

The Minnesota Antibiotic Stewardship Honor Roll was developed by partners in the One Health Antibiotic Stewardship Collaborative. Recognized hospitals have demonstrated commitment to antibiotic stewardship, put interventions in place to improve antibiotic use, and have shown a willingness to support stewardship outside their facilities through collaborative activities. Honor rolls for long-term care and other health settings are under development.
