The Office of Medical Cannabis’ Advisory Panel on Intractable Pain meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

Tentative agenda:

This meeting will be an opportunity to observe and will not include public testimony. If you are interested in providing public testimony, please attend one of our next community sessions around the state. If you would like to provide written comments, follow the link to the Public Comment Form.
Presentation of review of scientific literature on effectiveness and risks of medical cannabis for pain management
Potential for another content expert presentation – as requested by Panel
Presentation of public comments received since September meeting. Review of material presented at first two meetings
Discussion and deliberation. Determine recommendation.

Community Sessions:

There are still three opportunities left to attend an Office of Medical Cannabis community session. The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Office of Medical Cannabis is holding a series of community sessions around the state this fall offering members of the public the opportunity to learn more about the state’s medical cannabis program. Participants also will have the opportunity to provide input on the question of adding intractable pain to the list of medical conditions that qualify people to participate in the program.
