Embargoed Test Results Summary

On July 24, embargoed assessment results will be available in Test Results Summary on the Assessment Secure Reports page of the MDE website. The Test Results Summary reports contain final summary data at the school, district, and state levels for Math and Science MCA, Math MTAS, Science Alt MCA, and WIDA Alternate ACCESS. Reading MCA and Alt MCA Test Results Summary will be posted on Sept. 18, and WIDA ACCESS and WIDA ACCESS for Kindergarten with updated proficiency levels will be posted later this fall.

To support districts in accessing and using the report, the 2025-26 Test Results Summary User Guide will be available by the release date on the Assessment Secure Reports page.

Verifying Information in MDE-ORG for DAC Assignments

As MDE or Pearson may need to contact districts this summer, please ensure that the DAC contact information is current in the Minnesota Department of Education-Organization Reference Glossary (MDE-ORG). If your district’s DAC is not available this summer, please add an Alternate DAC who is available.

Each district has a Site Verification Coordinator (SVC) who maintains and updates all contact information in MDE-ORG, and you can find the SVC for your district in MDE-ORG. If your SVC has any questions about the DAC update process, they can contact mde.school-verify@state.mn.us for support.

Student Privacy Webinars

In August, the U.S. Department of Education Student Privacy Policy Office (SPPO), through its Privacy Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), will host a three-day National Summer Webinar Series.

• Aug. 12, 1-3 p.m.: FERPA 101 and Vetting Educational Technology: This webinar will cover the basics of FERPA and explore how to assess online educational technology for privacy protections and general FERPA compliance.
• Aug. 19, 1-3 p.m.: Data Security Best Practices and Incident Response: This webinar will provide training on current data security best practices for education data systems and will lead participants through a simulated data breach.
• Aug. 26, 1-2:15 p.m.: FERPA Scenarios: FAQs & Facts: This webinar will dive into scenarios faced by schools and districts and address frequently asked questions.
