MDE Reschedules Virtual Public Hearing on Proposed Health Education Standards for April 13 and 14 

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) will hold virtual public hearings on the Proposed Permanent Rules Relating to Academic Standards in Health on April 13 and 14, 2026.

The hearing on April 13 begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m., or when the last person present has the opportunity to be heard, whichever comes first.  

The hearing on April 14 begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., or when the last person present has the opportunity to be heard, whichever comes first.

Once adopted, the 2025 Academic Standards in Health are anticipated to be implemented in the 2028-29 school year.
