Fall 2025 Ed-Fi Experience Survey Now Open

Please share your experience. One way of tracking progress and gathering feedback is through a brief survey that is given to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) every six months. We would appreciate if you could take 10 minutes to respond to this survey by Friday, December 5. The survey does not collect names of individuals or districts but does ask for some demographic information. Thank you in advance for your time and feedback.

Complete the Fall 2025 Ed-Fi Experience Survey.

Also, thank you to the 85 participants from school and district staff across the state in our Spring 2025 Ed-Fi Experience Survey. This valuable feedback is helping us meet your needs, plan for the future and monitor growth. Results from the Spring 2025 survey informed the work of creating the modified Fall 2025 survey.

MARSS AB File/Ed-Fi Comparison Report

In August, a minor adjustment was made to the PreSchool Screening site numbers in the Comparison Report to align data between Ed-Fi and A/B files. However, this change led to the report failing in some cases. To address the issue, we have reversed the change for both the 2025 and 2026 reporting years. This does not affect Ed-Fi only districts or running the edit in MARSS WES with Ed-Fi Data. We apologize for the inconvenience.

MARSS PS Note

Until a district has certified themselves to submit by Ed-Fi only, submitting MARSS PS records by A/B upload is still required to obtain screening state aid. Since the screening is a legislative requirement (Minn. Stat. 142D.091 [2024]) for prekindergarten, early learning scholarships, and public kindergarten programs, all districts should be submitting the MARSS PS data.
