All Ed-Fi acronym explanations are available in the Ed-Fi acronyms document.
Digital equity data may be updated at any time throughout the year. Term transitions may present an opportunity to ask students and families to review and verify or update their digital equity responses. MDE reports digital equity statewide data on our website. When updates are made locally and synced via EdFi, we can include that data in our annual report snapshot taken February 1.

Role/Position: Early Childhood Screening Coordinator at the Department of Children, Youth and Families
Three Favorite Things:
- Kayaking on Minnesota's lakes and rivers
- Cooking healthy food from my garden
- Wildlife – especially young elephants
What I do in my role:
I support and train district prekindergarten teachers, health staff and others in providing family-centered, equitable, culturally responsive, and high-quality health and developmental screening for children 3 to 7 years old, so they may be at their optimal health, be successful learners and thrive!
How I can help districts and schools:
If a district needs to know about developmental screening program best practices, requirements, or screening state aid, they could reach out to me.
Although I am not a MARSS coordinator, I strive to connect folks to others who can be of help.
