Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (S-EBT) Bulletin for Week of May 20, 2024

S-EBT Deadline

The S-EBT Portal will close for data entry on May 31, 2024, at 4 p.m. Ensure all student data is uploaded to the portal before this deadline.

Head of Household and Mailing Address

The head of household and mailing address on file must be up-to-date in the S-EBT portal prior to May 31, 2024, in order to deliver the S-EBT card to the correct address and household.

Additional Training Videos Now Available

In addition to the April 12, 2024, S-EBT webinar recording, we now have three new training videos on S-EBT portal overview, data upload and reviewing student data after data file upload. Follow the below links to access.

Data Upload Tips

  • Use the S-EBT Template when uploading.
  • Save the S-EBT template as a workbook before saving it as a comma-separated values (CSV) file.
  • When making edits, use the saved workbook file and then save it as a new CSV file once ready to upload.
  • Column Y, “FRP Application Date” in the template, is a required field and cannot be left blank.
    • Acceptable FRP application dates are between July 1, 2023–August 31, 2024.
    • For direct certified students, use the first direct certified report date.
  • In Columns A and I in the template, use the S-EBT Organization Identification (ID) List 2023–24 to enter the correct school organization ID number.
  • Review the reports tab and correct any student data errors to ensure accurate student file transfers. Watch the S-EBT Portal Reports Training Video for instructions on how to analyze those reports.
