Updated Contracts and Renewal of Contracts for Vended Meals
The Contract for Vended Meals and Renewal of Contracts for Vended Meals for all applicable CACFP and SFSP Programs has been updated to include the current Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Assurance of Civil Rights Compliance (requires a signature). Meal price increases for 2024 renewal contracts may not exceed 4.2% of the agreed-upon 2023 meal price. Please use the updated contracts for the current program year.

Department of Defense (DoD) Fresh Fruit and Vegetable FFAVORS Receipting Reminder
Sponsors must log in to the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Order Receipt System (FFAVORS) within five days of receiving a DoD order to verify any shortages, overages and/or damages. If an order is not receipted after seven calendar days, no new orders can be placed for the sponsor. Please refer to the Food Distribution Program Handbook on the Minnesota Department of Education website for further instructions.

Participate in the SFSP
Information about the SFSP was sent out in two separate SFSP Bulletins this year. If you did not receive the January 23, 2024, or the March 5, 2024, SFSP Bulletin messages, view them in the Nutrition Program Bulletin Archive. Note that the application period for the SFSP is short, so if you are interested in participating in SFSP for summer 2024, to ensure you do not miss any deadlines.
