EE EDVP Validations and Dynamic Reports Paused
We are temporarily restricting access to Early Education Validations and Dynamic Reports in the Ed-Fi Data Validation Portal (EDVP) while we verify the validity of the reports to prevent unwanted errors. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve your experience. We will notify users via the Ed-Fi newsletter when the validations and reports are once again available.
New Support Documents
Early Learning Services Data Team released a set of documents to support local staff in getting answers to their questions. They include the Quick Reference Guide, Key Contacts, EDIAM User Roles, and spring training dates. The documents will live at the Early Learning Services Data Reporting.

Ed-Fi MARSS Vendor-Specific User Group Virtual Meetings
Please check the MDE calendar for our monthly vendor-specific user groups where MARSS in Ed-FI questions can be addressed. There will be some day or time differences for some of the meetings in February. Please doublecheck when registering.

MCCC Training Announcement
Minnesota Common Couse Classification (MCCC) Ed-Fi Data Validation Training
Training Description
The training content will be repeated every Tuesday and Thursday during March. Join one or more to help with your understanding of the data validation process for MCCC in Ed-Fi.
MCCC's move to reporting through Ed-Fi will change how the data validations are run. Validations will be initiated by the Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) instead of reactionary to a failed file load.
This training will walk through how this will affect reporting and what LEAs need to do to make this transition as smooth as possible.
Intended Audience
District staff who review and correct the MCCC course, staff and student data reported through Ed-Fi. This should be a person who has knowledge of the data being reported and how to make adjustments in the student information system to correct errors.

Thank You to MCCC in Ed-Fi Pilot Partners
As we start reporting 2023-24 (2024) Minnesota Common Course Catalogue (MCCC) data via Ed-Fi, we would like to take a moment to thank those who have supported this important work. As part of the multiyear planning for collection of MCCC data via Ed-Fi, many Minnesota Local Educational Agency (LEA) staff volunteered their time and expertise to prepare for a successful rollout. This work included reporting to help work out bugs and firm up training needs to help provide a strong product. All participants took on this task along with all of the other responsibilities of their jobs. We would like to acknowledge their work and pass on a huge thank you.
