Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) Equipment Grant – Round 2 

The FY22 Equipment Grant – Round 2 application will be posted soon on the MDE Competitive Grant Opportunities webpage. The purpose of this grant is for school food authorities (SFAs) in the National School Lunch Program in Minnesota to purchase new equipment needed to serve healthier meals, improve food safety or help support the establishment, maintenance or expansion of the School Breakfast Program. Approximately $132,219 of FY22 NSLP Equipment Grant funding is available. Current FY22 NSLP Equipment Grant recipients already received awards from this grant and are not eligible to receive funds in this second round of funding. SFAs may apply for funding for one piece of equipment with a maximum award amount of $25,000. The Question and Answer period closes on November 22, 2023. 

FY22 Equipment Grant applications are due by December 8, 2023.
