Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Renewals Outreach and Educational Resources

As a result of the end of the federal public health emergency, many Medicaid and CHIP participants are at risk of losing their health care coverage. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has created materials and resources to help people with Medicaid or CHIP take steps to renew their health coverage or find other coverage options.

Reaching Children and Families in School-Based and Early Education and Care Settings is a toolkit created for schools and child cares to help educate parents and families about what is happening right now with Medicaid and CHIP. The toolkit includes letters, social media messages and other materials and resources in English and Spanish.
