Save the Date: Introduction to MARSS in Ed-Fi
Introduction to MARSS in Ed-Fi will be available LIVE via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:
- June 29, 9-10:30 a.m.
- July 11, 9-10:30 a.m.
- July 25, 9-10:30 a.m.
All session links will be on the MDE calendar.
This training will provide an introduction to MARSS in Ed-Fi reporting for new MARSS Coordinators, those new to Ed-Fi, or to those wanting a refresher. Learn about the process, tools, and reports to ensure your data is reporting correctly.

Reminder: AEO Data Submissions Due June 30
Thank you to those who have already submitted Ancestry Ethnic Origin (AEO) data for the 2022-23 school year. AEO data needs to be submitted by June 30, 2023, to be included in the Counting All Students Annual Report. The form for families to fill out and the parent letter are available on the Ed-Fi Document webpage. Select AEO under data collection on the left-hand side. Additional information about AEO is available via the AEO Data Collection Fact Sheet. Early Education Enrollment – Ed-Fi Reporting for ECFE and School Readiness
Thank you to those of you who have already completed reporting and have prepped for next year. Reminder that Early Education Enrollment data is due July 15, 2023, through Ed-Fi for the 2022-23 school year.
District staff may want to review the After the First Sync document on the Ed-Fi Documentation site as they work through errors on the EDVP. The EE Enrollment Manual is also available there.
There will be open office hours from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, with Ed-Fi and Early Learning staff. For those returning in the fall, note the opening training for Early Education Enrollment is set for 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, October 3. All session links will be on the MDE calendar.
