Student Validation Errors
Please check the Student Data Error Report tab at the top of the P-EBT portal to view student records with Identification (ID) errors. In the Data Transfer Error Message column, error codes 1001 and 3000-3006 are student data validation errors, which means the data entered into the P-EBT portal does not match what was entered into MARSS.
Make sure the first name, last name, middle name (if applicable), date of birth and gender as well as the ID number match exactly what is in MARSS. If the student’s name, date of birth or gender were entered incorrectly in the P-EBT portal, make those edits in the student’s record.
Summer 2023 P-EBT
School Data Entry for Summer 2023 P-EBT Benefits
- Schools should enter all qualifying free and reduced-price lunch students into the portal.
- Students need a 2022-23 school enrollment and food service program to be eligible.
- Students are eligible for summer benefits regardless of school or student COVID-19 impact status.
- Students may be eligible for Summer 2023 P-EBT benefits if they attended a National School Lunch Program (NSLP)-participating school the last month of SY 2022-23 and submitted an Application for Educational Benefits to their school by June 16, 2023; or were directly certified to receive free or reduced-price meals. Applications received after this date will not be eligible. Homeschool and virtual students do not qualify for Summer 2023 P-EBT.
- The first Summer 2023 P-EBT benefits issuance will be in late July 2023.
