Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) Bulletin for July 18, 2022

P-EBT Portal Re-Opening for Summer P-EBT Catch-Up Deadline July 29, 2022, at 4 p.m.

Due to a number of school districts that have yet to enter data into the portal for the 2021-22 school year, a July 29, 2022, deadline has been added for schools to enter students. Students must have been approved for free or reduced-price meals during the 2021-22 school year and enrolled in the last month in a National School Lunch Program participating school. Reminder: free or reduced-price-approved students are eligible for summer benefits whether they had a COVID-19 absence or not.

Newly Eligible Students – Please Wait for the Next Submission Period

Newly eligible students who submit new applications for educational benefits dated between July 1–September 2, 2022, can be added to the portal during the next Submission period to qualify for Summer 2022 benefits. Remember to date stamp applications received during the summer months.

Instructions for Bulk Uploads:

P-EBT Benefits Expiring

Effective September 1, 2022, P-EBT benefits on the card expire after nine months of non-usage. Benefits will be removed nine months after the last date of activity on the card. Schools should encourage families to use benefits right away.
