P-EBT Portal Re-Opening

The P-EBT portal has opened for edits and uploads.

You can now upload new student data. The next data submission deadline is May 31, 2022.

P-EBT Cards

If students previously received P-EBT benefits, new payments will be loaded onto their existing P-EBT card. If families no longer have their P-EBT card, they can request a replacement card through EBT Edge by calling 888-997-2227. There is a $2 fee to replace the card.

Newly eligible students will receive a new P-EBT card. New cards will take up to six weeks to deliver. The Department of Human Services (DHS) will email/text families with P-EBT benefits updates.

New Portal Feature

Now available in the P-EBT portal is the Ask a Question tab. On this tab you can ask private questions to the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) P-EBT staff. This tab will maintain a history of asked questions and responses. The option to email is still available.

P-EBT staff are available during regular business hours. Off-hour questions will be answered on the next business day.
