2022 MSS Administration Updates

Note about MSS

The survey is voluntary for school districts, but strongly encouraged. The results will help schools understand the health and well-being of their students and may be especially beneficial amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Announcing the Contractor for 2022 MSS

The MSS Interagency Team is happy to announce that Wilder Research will be administering the 2022 MSS! We are very excited to have a local Minnesota organization work on this statewide survey.

2022 MSS Delayed Start Date

Due to contracting delays, the first day the MSS can be taken has been postponed. Students may take the MSS anytime between January 18, 2022, and June 10, 2022.

MSS District Contacts

The MSS Interagency Team will assume the District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) is the MSS district contact. District contacts are responsible for identifying the person(s) who will register schools for the MSS.

If someone else should be the MSS district contact, please email mss@wilder.org with the contact name, title, email address and phone number. In cases where DAC contact information has not been updated in MDE-ORG, the superintendent or charter school director will be identified as the MSS district contact.
