March 2, 2021
School leaders,
Families are depending on your staff to get their food benefits through Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) as soon as possible. In order for students to receive September and October P-EBT benefits in April, school districts and charter schools must complete the following two tasks by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 5. Failure to complete both tasks by the deadline will delay benefits to students by at least one month. View the P-EBT Checklist for Public Schools for more detailed information.
-
Certify learning model data using the Learning Model Confirmation Survey.
If your organization’s learning model data are displayed correctly in the Safe Learning Model Look-Up, please complete the learning model confirmation survey. If your learning model data are not accurate, report the errors to mde.school-verify@state.mn.us. Errors reported after March 2 may not be corrected prior to the March 5 deadline.
-
Upload student data into the P-EBT Data Portal
Review the Instructions for Bulk Upload of student records. Use the P-EBT Excel Template to format your file and convert to CSV format prior to upload. Please allow enough time to correct for file errors prior to the March 5 deadline.
Sign up for the P-EBT bulletin to receive important updates on P-EBT. District and charter school MARSS coordinators and food service contacts have been automatically subscribed to the P-EBT bulletin and are the presumed points of contact.
