The spring 2020 Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CEIS) webinar information is now available for those Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) that will be submitting CEIS applications on July 1, 2020. Registration information will be added as it becomes available.
Wednesday, April 8, 1:30-2:30 p.m., CEIS Fiscal and Program Requirements: register on the Zoom website. Topics include: CEIS IDEA state and LEA requirements, applicability to charter schools, education cooperatives and traditional LEAs.
Wednesday, April 15, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Minnesota Methodology and CEIS Data. Topics include: CEIS computations, formulas and data used to identify LEAs for significant disproportionality.
Tuesday, May 5, 2020, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Minnesota's Reasonable Progress Standard (for Year 3 sites). Topics include: Understanding Minnesota's standard for LEAs that meet the state threshold for significant disproportionality but are making reasonable progress; understanding the criteria for meeting scaling up the use of an evidence-based practice in order to qualify for reasonable progress.
Tuesday, June 2, 1:30-2:30 p.m., CEIS Student Reporting Requirements. Topics include: CEIS reporting requirements in the Minnesota Automated Reporting Student System (MARSS) for charter schools, education cooperative and traditional districts; CEIS reporting requirements for LEAs using CEIS funds for students with disabilities.
Tuesday, June 16, 1:30-2:30 p.m., CEIS Questions and Answers (open-ended).
