Help Us Test Help Me Connect

An Online Resource Navigator for Minnesota’s Early Childhood Services and Resources

It’s time to test Help Me Connect (formerly “expanded” Help Me Grow) – a statewide, online resource navigator for providers working with families who are pregnant or parenting children birth through 8 years of age. We are working with an outside agency to conduct a testing opportunity and feedback survey with as many of Minnesota’s early childhood providers as possible. Please share this survey widely with your staff who are supporting and working with these children and families (for example, 0-3 home visitors, homeless liaisons, 3-5 classroom staff, related services, etc.)

Help Me Connect, an interagency collaboration between the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Department of Human Services (DHS) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), is an online, one-stop place for providers to learn about and connect Minnesota families who are pregnant or parenting children birth to 8 years with a robust range of local services and supports throughout the state. Help Me Connect builds on the success of Help Me Grow.

Your staff can take the Help Me Connect survey on the SurveyMonkey website (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HelpMeConnectTestSurvey).

Your early childhood program staff’s input is needed to ensure that Help Me Connect is a user-friendly, valuable, and sustainable tool. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Please encourage your staff to also forward this information to other colleagues they think can provide feedback.

The survey will end December 13. Thank you for your help.
