A Message from our new Communications Specialist
Hello, I’m Brad Doboszenski and I am the new Communications Specialist for the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Assessment and Testing Division. I will be focused on assisting in communicating important information concerning the Counting all Students initiative. I am currently in the process of finalizing a communications plan that will provide districts the tools they need to communicate to parents and community members. This communications plan will be instrumental in relaying information to all stakeholders and to answer the questions. MDE will develop a toolkit that will assist districts in communicating information and aid in making the process as seamless as possible. I will be working hard to make the process as easy as possible for all and to provide as much information and assistance as I can.

The enrollment for 2019-20 is increasing and parents should look for the new forms in spring enrollment packets. To find out if you will be providing the detailed demographic information contact your district for more information. The 2019-20 forms, such as parent letters, frequently asked questions and the 2019-20 Ethnic and Racial Demographic Designations Forms, are posted to the Counting All Students page in several languages.
