The Minnesota Student Survey will be administered between
January 4 and May 31, 2016. Registration
will open Thursday afternoon, December 3. Find more information about the Minnesota
Student Survey.
Registration Process
All district contacts (including superintendents and
district assessment coordinators) will receive an email with a registration
link on Thursday afternoon, December 3, requesting them to designate a
registrant for each school in the district. The registrant may be different for
each school, or it may be the same person. Once registrants are designated,
they will receive an email with a link to order surveys.
Important: The registration email will be sent from notify@quickbase.com. Please ensure that
district contacts, registrants, and on-site contacts add this email to their
list of acceptable addresses so it does not get caught in spam filters.
Registration Deadlines
If you plan to administer the survey at any schools between
January 4, 2016, and January 15, 2016, please complete your registration for
these schools by December 10, 2015, to allow for preparation and delivery of
survey Web links and paper surveys before winter break. If you plan to administer
the survey after January 15, you will be able to register up until two full calendar weeks prior to your desired
administration date.
Registration Webinars
Two webinars will be conducted to demonstrate the

Wednesday, December 9 at 10 a.m.

ITEMS OF INTEREST |
Join over 540 schools around Minnesota by applying to be a part of the next cohort training for School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Schools and districts across Minnesota have found that implementing PBIS contributes to improved academic performance as well as school climate.
Selection for school teams to participate in Cohort 12 (summer 2016 -- spring 2018) is based on this application process. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence of a data system that informs behavioral practices; administrative support and participation; and demonstration of staff buy-in. All training dates for each region are included in the application. Regional Implementation Projects will coordinate training and coaching and support implementation in the northern, southern and metro areas of the state. View additional information and the application on the Minnesota PBIS website.
The completed application is due no later than 2 p.m. on January 13, 2016. Only electronic submissions will be accepted and should be submitted to MDE.PBIS@state.mn.us. Any questions about the application can also be sent to MDE.PBIS@state.mn.us.
