Seven Million in Grant Awards!

The Minnesota Statewide Longitudinal Education Data System (SLEDS) and the Early Childhood Longitudinal Data System (ECLDS) won a seven million dollar award from the most recent Institute of Education Sciences (IES) grant competition. The two data systems connect and provide data from multiple sources to allow for a deeper measure from how prepared our state's children are when entering school, to how students progress through the K-12 system, and their level of readiness for postsecondary and career success. SLEDS and ECLDS are a joint effort of Minnesota’s Office of Higher Education (OHE) and the Departments of Education, Human Services, Health, and Employment and Economic Development.
