Our Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom (MAITC) team is celebrating the 2025-26 school year by featuring an awesome teacher who uses agriculture as a context for teaching and learning each month. Our April featured teacher is Ms. Jeni Mihalick.
Jeni Mihalick is currently middle school STEM teacher at Hill-Murray School in Maplewood, MN. She loves to help students challenge themselves, problem solve, and discover a love of learning!

The Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom Program and Foundation recognize that first-year teachers face a unique set of challenges as they begin their teaching career. To inspire early-career teachers to integrate agriculture into their K-12 curriculum, we are offering a grant program specifically for first-year teachers.
