Updated - FDA Issues Advisory for Frozen, Raw, Half-shell Oysters from Republic of Korea

August 1, 2025 – The FDA is aware that there are additional frozen, raw, half-shell and individual quick frozen (IQF) oysters processed by JBR KR-15-SP, Tongyeong-si, Republic of Korea (ROK) that consumers, restaurants, and retailers should avoid eating, serving, and selling due to potential contamination with norovirus.
